Excerpt from “The High Life Part 2” by Apostle Trevor Banks
The high life requires you to have limitless life in Christ. It is a blessed life, a prosperous life that is more abundant, better in quality and quantity. John 10:10 states, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” As you are transformed into the divine imagine of Christ, and your soul prospers, you allow the spirit of God to have dominion in your life. You prosper as your soul prospers in God.True prosperity begins with a reference point. You start out right by establishing a spiritual foundation, and building that foundation on the word of God. In John 15:4 Christ says, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” Abiding can cause you to stretch, make boundaries move and take limits off, resulting in increased internal dominion. You must abide in Him and allow His words to abide in you so you may prosper. You’re not built with man’s hand or by man’s way of doing things. You are the temple of God. You only need the provisions He sees as necessary for you to fulfill your vision or destiny. There are challenges which will try to interrupt God’s working in your life, but as you abide in Him, He will lead you in the right path. The best life will begin to manifest externally in the following facets: ~Dominion ~Stature ~Time ~Position ~Joy ~Life ~Peace God’s principle for your life is that you prosper and live the high life as you live, move and have your being in Him. “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring” (Acts 17:28). Now is the time. Live in God. Live the high life.
